It's awesome that the PS4 allows players to record their gameplay, and upload clips online to share with their friends, but the delivery system leaves a little to be desired, as at present, the only vessel through which the videos can easily be shared is Facebook. Naturally, sharing on Facebook has a viewer ceiling of, for most people, a few hundred other users on your friends list, many of whom probably couldn't care less about the awesome trick you pulled off on Knack. What the PS4 needs is the ability to log into your YouTube account and upload videos directly. At the moment, the only way to post PS4 videos on Facebook is to awkwardly download the video from your Facebook page via a special website, then upload it to YouTube manually. It's an arduous process that most casual players won't bother with, and given how huge a platform YouTube is, it's silly not to allow us to take advantage of it. Of course, the usual issues around copyright claims are likely to flare up, but if Sony want to make the most of this, YouTube is a must.
