12 Major Video Game Sequels That Must Be Announced In 2016
6. Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic III
Whether you're a KOTOR 1 or 2 kinda person, one thing we all agree on is next to the Jedi Academy games, Bioware's pre-Mass Effect magnum opus is the finest Star Wars product out there. Now, obviously The Force Unleashed has already been mentioned, but what of the need to scratch that RPG itch in a galaxy far, far away? The Old Republic MMO game and expansions are still ongoing as of time of writing, but unless you've got a decent PC you'll barely have heard of them. Instead, we need another 'proper' KOTOR on consoles; one that either comes from Bioware or gets handed over to Obsidian like KOTOR II. Either way, the world of Star Wars is built to be explored and plundered for mythological elements left, right and centre. As The Force Awakens proved, watching a new character interact with and master the Force is a timeless story arc, and one of the best parts of the original KOTOR was doing the same. Hell, you even got to choose the colour of your lightsaber's Kyber crystal. With newer tech allowing for far larger worlds than ever before, more rich cities, customisation options and even character roles, a new landmark Star Wars RPG baring the prolific KOTOR name would be fantastic.
