12 Major Video Game Sequels That Must Be Announced In 2016

7. Legacy Of Kain: Dead Sun

Did you know there was a Legacy of Kain game planned for quite some time, only to get cancelled in 2012? Named Dead Sun, you would apparently follow the intertwined tale of Gein and Asher, a vampire and human combo whose souls had become one, through some sort of supernatural gubbins. Point being - it was another Legacy of Kain game, and that alone would've been cause for much celebration. Sadly though, Crystal Dynamics had a bit of a reshuffle. They opted instead to devote much of their time and effort to the reboot of Tomb Raider in 2013, and as for LoK? The only title baring its name from the last 16 years, is an arena shooter called Nosgoth. Because of course it is. Original scriptwriter Amy Hennig has long since departed Crystal Dynamics in that time, but that's precisely why we need an entirely new game to pick up the ashes of Dead Sun, or simply make another in the canon from scratch. Raziel and Kain are two of the most identifiable characters in gaming history - let's see them front and centre on the current generation.
