The Evil Within is a curious horror affair, created by Shinji Mikami of Resident Evil fame. On the surface, it appears to be quite a traditional fright fest; replete with all the spooks, lurking chainsaw-wielders and dark, dingy corridors you’d expect. Things take a strange, psychological turn later on, but The Evil Within continues to deliver awful monsters throughout.

Laura was antagonist Ruvik’s sister, who burned to death in a tragic barn fire. In the bizarre, distorted ‘Ruvik World’ Sebastian finds himself in, she appears as a kind of grim lovechild of the giant spider from Harry Potter and the girl who hops out of the TV in The Ring.
