12 Most Hated Fighting Game Characters

2. Alpha 152 - Dead Or Alive 4

The Kasumi clone Alpha 152 was the ultimate test of might in Dead or Alive 4. Ostensibly, the boss had the same basic moveset as the fighter she was cloned from, but a few completely broken bells and whistles made her virtually unstoppable.

Most pressingly was the ability for Alpha 152 to teleport around the arena, and follow that already unpredictable move up with an attack that was similarly too fast to properly dodge. It ended up feeling like you were playing whack-a-mole, except the mole could uppercut you into oblivion.

That alone would earn her a spot on this list, but the icing on the s**t cake is that, when you did finally see an opportunity to get a hit in, there was a 90% chance she'd counter and hit you with her own devastating rebound.

When Alpha 152 was promoted to a playable character in Dead or Alive 5, it's telling that she was stripped of most of these extra flourishes, because the devs knew players would have an unfair advantage over everyone.
