12 Most Hated Fighting Game Characters

3. Jinpachi Mishima - Tekken 5

Tekken 5 Jinpachi Mishima
Namco Bandai

The eldest patriarch of the troubled Mishima family tree, Jinpachi made his on-screen debut as the final boss of Tekken 5, instantly becoming one of the most notorious final challenges in the series' long history.

He moved around the stage like you'd imagine an aged fighter over 100 years old would (by that i mean he was slow as balls) but the lack of mobility and speed was offset by an immense amount of strength. He didn't need to be fast, as every other base was covered; combos could hit you from far away, fireballs would force you to move, and a couple hits would see the health bar extinguished. And if that failed, he'd just spam the same punch until you were dead.

In another tell-tale sign that he was a total cheese-fest and not at all a fair fight, Jinpachi was also the first boss character in the entire series not to be playable. That's because players would be able to just sit back, relax, and absolutely smash any opponent with the same couple of combos.
