Is VR still alive? If it is and you've invested in a headset, Star Trek Bridge Crew is next on your list.

Requiring quite the insane setup to get the most out of it, Bridge Crew actually sounds like one of the best ideas for a Star Trek game in history. You literally get to grab a few friends (it's up to four players) before donning headsets and beaming into the positions of Captain, Tactical Officer, Engineer and Helm Officer.

From here, looking around will let you 'see' your companions as the game tracks all head movements, and ostensibly makes you feel like your best mates are piloting the Enterprise (or in this case, the USS Aegis). Random attacks and other instances occur where you'll have to deploy missiles or reroute power to deflector shields, forcing cooperation between your team, the game's story being to track down some wayward Vulcans.

For Star Trek fans this is an absolute dream, but for sc-fi lovers and VR enthusiasts, we might finally have the first truly great VR game.
