12 Most Memorable Moments From PS4's First Year

1. Update 2.0 (Finally) Arrives

In late October, Sony finally rolled out the long-awaited 2.0 update, which introduced a number of features which had been advertised long before launch. These features include Share Play (allowing you to connect to a friend's game via streaming technology and even take over play for up to an hour), the ability to (finally!) upload videos to YouTube rather than just Facebook, custom themes, a partially redesigned UI, the ability to play music files via USB (but not yet from the hard drive, disappointingly), and the ability to pause downloads. Frankly, it's embarrassing that some of these features took so damn long to show up, but it's a pleasure to finally have them, even if other basic aspects like hard drive music and video support shouldn't be a mere "maybe" from Sony almost a year after release. This isn't the media-centric Xbox One, but c'mon, give the people what they want! What do you remember most about the PS4's first year out in the wild? Shout it out in the comments!
