12 Notoriously Difficult Video Game Achievements Nobody Unlocked

9. Beat The Devil At His Own Game - Cuphead

Nobody was really ready for how difficult Cuphead was going to be. A throwback to old-school cartoons aesthetically, the Xbox exclusive was far from the easygoing experience its cuddly graphics suggested.

Consequently, most people picking up the game dropped off after hitting a brick wall in the first level, with some players skipping it entirely and then never returning to the game at all. Hard enough already on lower difficulties, the game is even more punishing if you dare to crank the challenge up to Expert.

In order to nab all of the game's achievements though, you'll need to finish the title on this difficulty to unlock the Beat The Devil At His Own Game challenge. But with only 2% of players actually matching this gargantuan task so far, you might end up hating the game completely before you even come close to popping it.
