Growing up during the reign of the Playstation (or PSone) was a spectacular gift, it was a groundbreaking era for console gaming. A whole new world opened up for developers in terms of lesser limitations, and they put that extra grunt to good use. The console - released in 1994 - dominated the 90s, blowing its main rivals (Nintendo 64 and the Sega Saturn) out of the water by becoming the first ever to ship 100 million units.
