6. Blue Harvest - Deus Ex

A deep cut for this next one. In the original Deus Ex, if you hack into a specific terminal in the 'Ton Hotel and find the character Paul's secret room, going on his personal computer will reveal a couple of titles for movies he's been renting.

One of these is 'Blue Harvest', the name co-adopted by Family Guy for their own parody of Star Wars, but a title that started life as the 'codename' for Return of the Jedi, when the shoot itself was still being kept under wraps.

Lucas chose the name as a nod to Akira Kurosawa's Red Harvest, a novel he was a huge fan of growing up.
