One of the oldest examples in gaming history of sexing something up that, let's be honest, defies all belief it could even be done in the first place, Ms. Pac-Man took a small yellow disc, and gave it pin-up girl legs.
Makeup, lips, rosy cheeks and fluttering eyelashes - it was par for the 80s gaming landscape course. And though you can look to other instances of Ms. Pac-Man that were far more "normal" i.e. just a female version of Pac-Man, this "eye-catching" design used in the arcades was drawn so that, only for a second, someone would play the game based on sexual attraction.
Someone would play PAC-MAN, because they were sexually aroused.
