12 Upcoming Video Game Sequels Nobody Asked For

10. Farming Simulator 15

The Pitch: Everyone's favourite farming simulator series is back, this time introducing logging, the ability to wash your vehicles, and if you can somehow find 15 friends to buy the game and play it with you, they can help build your farm online! Why Nobody Asked For It: Because it's a freaking farming simulator, that's why! While it's sort-of understandable that EA churn out a new FIFA game every year to update the stats of the players and teams (even though DLC would really suffice), does the farming industry really change enough every year to justify the creation of a new farming game? And do enough people really buy these games to warrant putting in the effort to make it? In its defense, the Farming Simulator series is considered the best and most popular of the small farming sim niche (its primary competitors being Agricultural Simulator and Professional Farmer 2014), and the graphics do look unexpectedly slick, but does this really need to be an annualised thing? Are people really that desperate for a bit of logging? One can't help but suspect that developers Giants Software intentionally hold back ideas each year to ensure that they have something they can add in next year.
