12 Video Games Marketed Entirely On Boobs

3. Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix

The Boobs: The original Fear Effect didn't exactly make a modest character out of busty protagonist Hana, and after the success of the first game, Eidos clearly just thought, "twice the boobs, twice the fun!" for the sequel, Retro Helix. In the game, Hana doesn't just get a well-endowed female sidekick, Rain Qin, but it's heavily implied that they're lesbian lovers, with numerous scenes causing the pair to become magically scantily-clad in close proximity (perhaps most memorably, in an elevator). Marketing also rather cynically focused on one infamous image of Rain giving Hana a back massage while the pair both wore nothing more than a skimpy bra and panties. But Was The Game Any Good?: Though the story didn't quite live up to the original and the shameless pandering gets quite irritating after a while, Fear Effect 2 is an artistically excellent game, benefiting from the same cel-shaded style as the original title, and of course, the same fun gameplay.
