8. Bioshock: Infinite
Bioshock Infinite's development was one fraught with problems and artistic redirects. As a result, the version of the game first shown back in 2010 was a far cry from what players received in 2013.
You can read the full breakdown of what was removed from the game as developers Irrational Games were slowly closing over here, but mainly, gone were Elizabeth's more visually stunning abilities that would bend dimensions at will, gone were tears in the fabric of time that would let you manipulate levels more freely, and gone were a ton of levels, enemy designs and the general integration of the Sky-Lines.
2013's edition retained some of these features, but at their most watered-down state. Bioshock Infinite was still a solid game, but scratch just a little at the surface, and something completely different was beneath.
