SoulCalibur was one of the first fighting games to properly utilize the 3D space with the ability to freely run, and was the Dreamcast's killer app fighter. No stranger to guest characters, either, as SoulCalibur 2 had Link, Spawn, and Heihachi on seperate consoles.

SoulCalibur 4, however, took the crossover guests to absurd heights when LucasFilms allowed Darth Vader and Yoda to join the fight as console exclusives, alongside Starkiller from the upcoming Force Unleashed.

Vader and his apprentice fit in surprisingly well with the cast of sword slinging samurai, but Yoda stuck out like a sore thumb, as his diminutive stature made him both frustrating to play against and frustrating to play as.
