3. Star Wars: Demolition
If you had to describe Twisted Metal's appeal, chances are you'd fall back on either the characters, the general heavy-metal-fan's-dream aesthetic or the feel of combat when you're engaged in what always amounted to Destruction-Derby-with-laser-guns free-for-alls. It's a genre that you wouldn't for a second apply to Star Wars, but once you realise the developers were Luxoflux - the guys that brought you 'it's-not-Twisted Metal, honest!' Vigilante 8, their liberal caking-on of Star Wars art and nomenclature was just pasted on for the sake of more sales. Great business sure, but not for a second something that made for a good Star Wars game.
