5. Lego Brawls

The first time you heard there was an eight-player Lego brawler with over 200 playable characters, you probably thought, "Sign me up!" And since Lego titles are really consistent, Lego Brawls seemed like a sure thing.

But despite having the literal building blocks of a lucrative franchise, this might be the worst Lego game ever. Even though Lego Brawls clearly copied Smash Bros. homework, it utterly fails to match Nintendo's prized beat 'em up.

The overly basic controls will causes players to rely on button-mashing rather than strategy. Although Smash Bros. also has simple controls, players can still perform an astounding variety of attacks.

At first, the array of power-ups in Lego Brawls seems fun. But as you play around with them, you'll quickly notice that tossing these items at your opponents has pretty much the same effect, whether it's a rocket, a shark, or a laser.

The most frustrating thing about Lego Brawls is its potential. It incorporates characters from Ninjago, Jurassic Park, and other renowned properties and somehow, made the gaming experience monotonously dull. On top of that, there's not enough content here to justify charging full-price.
