13 Biggest WTF Moments From Gamescom 2019

8. Ori Is Coming To The Switch

The writing was on the wall for this announcement, considering the rumours that've been gestating for the past year, plus the notion that Nintendo and Microsoft are currently BFFs, but it doesn't take away the giddiness factor that this excellent Xbox One game is coming to the Switch.

Ori and the Blind Forest in some ways even seems like a better fit on a Nintendo machine; it has the retro Metroidvania factor of classic SNES titles, has an enduringly family-friendly fantasy world, plus it would make for one heck of a game to play on the go.

We live in exciting and boundary-breaking times when Microsoft is handing over the reigns to their most-championed current-gen game to a rival company... just because they want to.
