13 Criminally Underrated Marvel Superhero Video Games You Must Play

10. Marvel Vs Capcom 3

Although Marvel Vs Capcom 3 enjoyed a rather successful launch, gaining pretty decent scores from critics and performing adequately commercially, the game quickly received a rather harsh, if not completely undeserved, backlash in the weeks after it first came out.

Because it released with a bare-bones story mode and few online features (a practice Capcom still hasn't rectified if Street Fighter V is anything to go by), the game hasn't exactly enjoyed much longevity since it first hit store shelves.

Which is a shame, because like every entry in the series, Marvel Vs Capcom 3 is a superb fighting game at its core. Still looking great to this day, the graphics and design of the title are similarly spectacular, perfectly capturing the look and feel of the characters from both ends of the roster.

Sure, it's still lacking in core modes, but when you can pick up the game dirt cheap in 2016, that lack of content isn't anywhere near as much of an issue as it was when MvC3 was being sold at full price.
