13 Insane E3 2017 Announcements That Would Shock The World

1. You Can Change Your PSN Username... Effectively Immediately

The Announcement: This is perhaps the only thing more sought-after right now than Half-Life 3. After fielding vociferous requests from players for pretty much as long as people have been waiting for Half-Life 3, Sony caves in and grants players the ability to change their PSN usernames. And they can do it immediately after Sony's press conference finishes, likely crashing PSN in the process.

How Likely Is It?: Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida has explained before that there are enormous technical challenges related to allowing players to change names, apparently relating to the intricately-linked nature of PSN's data structure.

As much of an embarrassment for Sony as this is, considering how Xbox Live has had this feature for years, they don't seem hugely compelled to fix it, especially when they can be devoting their time to other things. It would be a surprisingly huge announcement, but it's basically the only thing less likely than Half-Life 3 showing up. -10/10
