Fans have been asking for it for years, and perhaps finally, this year, Activision will get their ducks in a row and give everyone the Crash Bandicoot remake/reboot/whatever they're been so desperately wanting.

How Likely Is It?: Now would be the perfect time to strike, really, considering the rapturous response to Crash's "cameo" in Uncharted 4, though there are a number of factors that may get in the way.

Firstly, Activision may have been waiting to see how Crash was received in Uncharted before making a decision, in which case they'd have nothing to show off beyond a hastily-produced trailer.

Secondly, Activision are acutely aware how beloved the series is, so they may essentially be holding any potential developer up to ransom for the rights, knowing that they can charge a pretty penny to license the game out.

At the same time, though, Crash's return has been teased again and again and again by various parties, so after a while it finally has to mean something, right? We all want to believe, but just wait and see. 4/10
