13 Phenomenal Titles That Make You Proud To Be A Gamer

11. The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead Although the show might be waxing and waning as time goes on (Honestly, who wanted to know more about The Governor€™s €˜struggle€™ to find himself?), it was over to adventure-masters Telltale Games to take inspiration from the comic-originals and hand-craft an original tale where you took centre-stage. Playing as Lee Everett, you make many decisions every few minutes that affect all those around you in increasingly dire ways. Surviving in a zombie apocalypse is not the MP3-players-and-clean-faces the TV show makes it out to be, and Telltale€™s game touches upon everything from how desperate individuals have become to survive, to character-backstories you can shape depending on how you tell them, to genuinely harrowing actions you€™re forced to take part in €˜for the greater good€™ of the group. It€™s a game that wraps up in one of the grimmest and most bleak ways possible, yet fits the franchise like a particularly moth-eaten glove, leading perfectly into the sequel-branching DLC €˜400 Days€™, and the full-on Season 2 next year.
