The Prediction: Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 will end up as the year's most pleasantly surprising title. No, really.

Why It Will Happen: Developer CI Games has promised that this third entry into the franchise will actually feature a AAA budget, allowing for stronger visuals and more diverse gameplay. In particular, they've promised less-linear routes through a level and branching paths to kill your marks.

Why It Might Not: It's still being developed by CI Games at the end of the day, who made the previous two games which received fairly middling responses from critics. A little more money can definitely help, but it needs to be put in the right hands.

While it'll absolutely look shinier, there's no guarantee that cash will be put to good use adding more complexity to the gameplay.
