3. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands Is Every Ubisoft Game Ever
The Prediction: The latest Ghost Recon title falls prey to almost every bad Ubisoft instinct, proving distinctly average (and more than a little underwhelming) as a result.
Why It Will Happen: Because Ubisoft just don't seem capable of learning their lesson and diversifying their titles. So many of their action games follow a distinct, rote template: repetitive missions in a large-scale world, and after The Division's financial success from following that formula, Wildlands will probably play in a similar vein.
When a formula prints money, why would they change it?
Why It Might Not: Then again, maybe, just maybe, Ubisoft will finally listen to those vocal complainers online and attempt something a little more adventurous. It's not like the Tom Clancy brand will be harmed by one critical or commercial disappointment, so perhaps it'll have something new to offer.
