11. Destiny 2 Gets Pushed To 2018

The Prediction: Bungie have confirmed that Destiny 2 will hit stores sometime in 2017, but don't be surprised if it ends up pushed to 2018.

Why It Will Happen: For starters, almost every big game gets delayed at least once, and presuming that Destiny 2 is shooting for a September-October window next year, it'd be easy for it to slip a few months into early 2018.

If history has proven anything, it's that publishers are enormously optimistic when it comes to the original release dates they lay down, so technical issues and the desire to polish the end product could see it nudged out of 2017.

Why It Might Not: Then again, the game is being published by Activision, the well-oiled machine that ensures Call of Duty never misses its annual release date, and considering the money to be made by releasing it before Christmas, Destiny 2 could very well land in late 2017 and get patched into shape if it's a little rough around the edges.
