9. Horizon Zero Dawn Is Beautiful, But Empty
The Prediction: Horizon Zero Dawn is by far one of the best-looking games of 2017... but also disappointingly empty when it comes to its open world, characters, plot and mission variety.
Why It Will Happen: Guerrilla Games haven't gone into much depth regarding Horizon's narrative or what will actually keep players wanting to explore, which is a little worrying. It's easy to imagine the final product having fun gameplay and great graphics, but incredibly repetitive, samey missions as is so often the main downfall of open-world titles.
Why It Might Not: Then again, perhaps Guerrilla, who have zero experience in this type of game, might bring something fresh to the table with their unique angle. Plus, we know from the Killzone games that they can nail a solid story and decent characters.
