Rather than have Rocksteady get wrangled into another title or see Warner Bros. Montreal release another Arkham Origins-style game, it seems the action-heavy stylings of those games are taking some time off, as none other than Telltale Games are stepping up to the Bat instead. The trailer alludes to playing as either the GCPD or the citizens of Gotham, which is a really cool and unique angle, as aside from one scene in Arkham Knight where we get to feel what it's like when Batman drops in out of nowhere, it's something completely unexplored. If Telltale do want to shine a light on the darkest corners of Gotham, showing what it's like to live in the city when Batman, his legendary foes and the GCPD are constantly at war with one another, expect a lot of the above - which will either make it phenomenal or a missed opportunity to not hope between all three.
