13 Upcoming Xbox One Exclusive Games You Must Consider
2. Gears Of War 4
Release Date: October 11
The Buzz: It's been too damn long since the last core entry into the Gears franchise with 2011's GoW3, and now, finally, part four is almost here.
Sadly there's no Marcus Fenix this time (he seems to be relegated to a cut-scene cameo), as GoW4 instead focuses on his son, J.D. Still, everything that's been shown off so far looks to retain the beautifully brutal style and tone of prior games, and while it doesn't look to be a particularly ambitious sequel, it does look absurdly entertaining.
It's disappointing that the co-op campaign has been scaled back to just two players, but the new Horde mode sounds like an absolute blast (with a new focus on class types), and true to form, it looks totally gorgeous.
