Another one that gets the tie-in treatment through iconography and setting alone, Batman Forever's video game tie-in was doth'd in just as much tinsel n' shiny decorations as its filmic counterpart. In all honesty, we could probably do with another side-scrolling Batman game (think Mark of the Ninja if you need convincing on how stealth would work), as this original played extremely well despite being a carbon-copy of Streets of Rage.

You had a solid lineup of moves (including a double head-smasher that would beat Arkham City to the punch), environmental attacks like slamming dudes into walls, and a healthy selection of gadgets including batarangs and the iconic grappling hook. The whole thing followed and elaborated on the events of the movie with all sorts of fancy enemy types, and there was one badass Batmobile segment that aped Outrun to create a blisteringly fast romp through Gotham's streets. You could totally argue that even this short level was more fitting and better implemented than 2015's Arkham Knight doing the same thing in a far bigger fashion, but I'll leave that debate up to the comment section.
