The Moment: Shortly before GTA Online launched on October 1st, 2013, players were made aware that the much-hyped Heists missions would be patched in later as free DLC. As subsequent updates arrived without much word about Heists, fans became angrier and angrier before apathy set in and people just stopped caring. As of January 2015, Heists still aren't in the game, even as reports continue to insist they are on the way very soon. Why It's WTF: Rockstar have a spectacular track record for delivering quality games, so this was one of the few instances where gamers really lost their patience with the company. Their lack of useful communication only compounded the frustration players felt, and helped contribute to GTA Online basically being a huge bust and extremely disappointing given the potential it had.
