14 Brutally Hard PS4 & Xbox One Games You Can't Handle
5. Knack
What? KNACK?!
Surprisingly yes! Sony's supposedly 'for the kids' platformer is actually incredibly hard on even its medium difficulty. Combining a mix of long levels, no checkpoints and sections that require precise timing to get through, the entire PR spin may have centred around making a game for wider mainstream appeal at launch, but the harsh reality is that Knack is about as unforgiving as Dark Souls.
You either perfect the combat and make it through these substantial chunks of gameplay in one piece, or die and restart over and over.
Pretty much EVERYONE disregarded Knack thanks to its naff aesthetic (and the final product's cutscenes are godawful, too), but gameplay wise? This was a surprisingly solid 3D platformer - one where difficulty should've always been an identifying factor.
