14 Completely Overlooked PS4 Games You're Totally Missing Out On

Double Fine

If You Already Like: Guacamelee, anything Double Fine have ever done, Metroidvania games.

Double Fine are one of those rare developers that walk the line between having games with the polish of a triple-A release, yet are forever routed in an indie mindset.

To that end, Headlander is a Metroidvania explore-a-thon where you play as a flying head landing on all manner of bodies. Different ones have different abilities (you're living in an all-digital future with androids rather than humans, and can head-land onto a dog if you like), but the real charm comes in experimenting with which new routes you can unlock by venturing in every direction possible.

It feels like Metroidvania games are making something of a comeback, and considering Super Metroid remains one of the most un-innovated on games of all time, is a damn good thing.

Think laser guns, 70s psychedelia, incredibly dynamic comedic beats (discovering the moonwalk button if you land on a certain citizen) - Headlander is a blast through and through.
