2. Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare

Could this be the end of Call of Duty?

Frankly, of course not - this series makes way too much money for one wrong move to halt progress altogether. However, with Infinite Warfare's trailer being one of the most downvoted of all time on Youtube (right next to the new Ghostbusters), there is something of a sense of trepidation going in, that maybe this will be the one where Activision go too far down the avenue of sci-fi, losing the bulk of their fanbase along the way.

My take, is each Call of Duty is always immaculately produced and play-tested. Unlike Ubisoft with Assassin's Creed, Activision know how to prioritise their studios and development. If you want an explosive sci-fi shooter with a serious(ish) take on what it might be like if/when we take to the stars, that's what this is.

If you want a Call of Duty in the vein of Modern Warfare or the first Black Ops, it's time to look elsewhere - unless you wanna fork out the extra cash for the Special Edition and receive Modern Warfare HD, of course.
