14 Most Disappointing Video Games Of 2017 (So Far)
5. Micro Machines: World Series
Micro Machines: World Series was Codemasters' chance to put the much-loved multiplayer racing series back on the map, and honestly, did the game really need to do much to succeed?
Sadly, World Series came and went with barely a peep due to its mediocre visuals, jaw-dropping lack of a single player championship, and laggy, glitchy multiplayer that ultimately ended up more trouble than it was worth.
This could've been a brilliantly nostalgic return to a classic franchise, but instead technical issues and a general corner-cutting approach to development left it miles behind the earlier installments. At least it didn't release for a AAA price tag, though.
