4. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3

It's fair to say that the first two Sniper: Ghost Warrior games were, well, not great, but CI Games promised players that the third entry into the series was being developed with a far larger budget, aimed at giving the game shiny AAA visuals and a sprawling, open world.

Sadly, this is a mild improvement over the previous games at best, one that's harangued by horrendous performance issues across platforms, atrocious AI, a dull story, and laughably bad driving mechanics.

The sniping itself is fine, but all the added bells and whistles ultimately detract from the pure, simple fun of long-range murder. Stick with the effortlessly superior Sniper Elite series instead.
