14 Superhero Video Game Sequels We Desperately Need
2. Marvel Nemesis: Rise Of The Imperfects
One of those 'brilliant idea, terribly executed' games, Rise of the Imperfects was EA's version of what DC would eventually do with Injustice: Gods Among Us; take your favourite heroes and pit them against each other in the most over-the-top way possible.
The problem, was combat just wasn't all that enjoyable. What we wanted was an overblown Def Jam-style brawler, but what we got had combat that lacked impact, and the titular Imperfects who should've been fun to see in action, justtook up valuable roster space. On the bright side, you could play as everyone from Spidey to Daredevil, Captain America to Iron Man and Venom, and herein likes someas-yet untappedappeal.
An unabashedly fun superhero brawler would just be A Brilliant Idea, no question. Round up Marvel's finest fighters, give them an excuse to pound each other into paste(or don't, the action would sell itself regardless), and get to it.
Def Jam: Fight For NY's devs, AKI Corp, haven't had their name in the spotlight for years, but they wouldbe a perfect fit.
