THQ Nordic revealed their new title at Gamescom, a post-apocalyptic, third-person action RPG called Biomutant, in which players control a fox-like animal as he uses kung-fu, mutations, bionics, and more conventional weapons to fight his way through a beautiful-yet-unforgiving landscape.

Players will also get the opportunity to use a diverse array of transports, such as mechs, paragliders, balloons, mounts, and jet skis. Little detail has been released about the plot or characters, but a wealth of gameplay footage has landed online since Gamescom wrapped up.

As far as new IPs go, this looks like it could be a lot of fun, so keep your fingers crossed it doesn't turn into another ReCore when it lands sometime next year.
