8. Sea Of Thieves Is Cross-Play For Xbox One & PC

There may still be many questions surrounding the release of Rare's multiplayer pirate adventure title Sea of Thieves, but it was just confirmed that the game will indeed support cross-play between Xbox One and PC.

Rare not only confirmed the news at Gamescom, but also stated that they're endeavouring to balance the game across platforms to ensure that PC players don't have a marked advantage over console owners, given the more expansive performance and controls options available on PC.

If nothing else, Rare certainly seems to be taking cross-play seriously, rather than just dumping it in the wild and hoping for the best.
