15 Awesome Video Games From 2017 You Probably Missed
5. Sniper Elite 4
Being four instalments in, you'd be remiss for thinking Rebellion's Sniper Elite franchise has ran out of ideas.
Quite the contrary, as this is their best work yet. Rolling together a Metal Gear Solid V-esque world filled with items to experiment with and A.I. to exploit, there's a playful feeling of poking and prodding at this sandbox of potential, just to see what happens.
Gameplay-wise you've got the same slow-motion X-ray sniping that put the series on the map - except now it's tighter than ever, main man Karl Fairburne can bust out a wicked melee kill and blasting Hitler's nads off has never looked better.
An essential third-person shooter on the level of what we used to enjoy across the 2000s. Perfect.
