15 Awesome Video Games From 2017 You Probably Missed

4. Prey

Prey Wrench
Bethesda

With Dishonored 2 and Prey both failing to wow sales-wise (mostly because Bethesda's review policy means no one gets eyes on the finished product until launch day), the latter is more than worth checking out.

A remake - mostly in overarching thematics - of the 2006 original, Arkane have designed one of the most hyper-detailed space exploration FPS' of them all. This is more Bioshock than Titanfall, as every terminal adds to the world itself; every new room telling a different story as you piece together how you ended up in this bizarre science facility.

Within minutes you'll have been debriefed by... yourself, actually, as being you have no memory of what happened, the story unfolds in a manner where you literally have to question your own motivations, and those around you.

A mind-bending delight with environment-mimicking enemies that are great fun to punch to pieces, Prey is the perfect gem to save from any bargain bin.
