12. Disney Infinity

The Mouse House played Skylanders at its own game in 2013 with the grand unveiling of Disney Infinity. Like it’s Spyro-headed competitor, the game involved kids bugging their parents into buying them an array of neatly-rendered characters to plug in and play as in an open-world adventure.

So, if you fancy a wander around with Mike and Sulley? Then make this a reality and grab the Monsters University playset; or, if you want Jack Sparrow to tag along with Elsa and Anna on a mission, then go get lost in the game’s expansive Toy Box mode.

The possibilities may not be infinite, but they sure are impressive.

Despite showing lots of promise, Disney announced in 2016 that they were discontinuing production of this game. Boo.
