15 Best First-Person Shooters Of The Decade (So Far)

11. Fallout 4 - Bethesda

Fallout 4 is Fallout 3, but with needed tweaks to the shooting, making it almost play to the standard of any top FPS, but with added settlement building - which, as nice as it was, wasn't requested by anybody.

And the story? Well, it was interesting, but it lacked any kind of freedom of choice; it was a man trying to get his son back, you couldn't really divert from that morality save for a few sarcastic, d*ckish replies in conversations. Add to that a rather predictable twist at the end, and it can taint the overall experience.

That being said, it was still a fun game, comprising fine-tuned gameplay amended by iD Software, who helped out Bethesda in nailing how to create a satisfying first-person shooter. Exploration and crafting were both wonderful too - it's just the story side of things that provides quite the hump to get over.
