15 Best Food-Themed Levels In Video Games

12. Glutton's Kitchen - Pikmin 2

Pikmin 2 really stretches the definition of what a cave is. The caves throughout the game can be anything from a shower room, to a castle, to just an above-ground area. Ok, at least the shower room and castle were underground, the above-ground area has no excuse.

One of the most interesting of these "caves" though is Glutton's Kitchen.

The whole level appears to take place in an underground house which is just really messed up when you think about it. People used to live here. What happened to them? Where are their bodies?

Anyway, most of the cave takes place in kids bedrooms (even more messed up) but you'll start to find more and more giant food as you venture further in such as giant eggs, cookies, doughnuts, and cakes. This of course leads you into the titular "Glutton's Kitchen" where giant food is laid across an infinite wooden plane covered in picnic blankets.

This is also where you'll fight the Breadbugs which are weird amalgamations of bread and bug. These annoying creatures will steal the artefacts that you went into the kitchen to find. They might be the most frustrating enemy in Pikmin 2 and you'll have to fight a giant one at the end of the cave, have fun.
