The house from Anatomy is compared throughout the game to the anatomy of a human body, which alone is an unsettling concept.

The idea gets even worse when you notice that many of the photos across the building are of the inside of a human. The house even appears to get angry at you, and organic growths can sprout out of the walls.

Anatomy doesn't have a more traditional monster chasing you throughout the halls, nor does it rely on jump-scares. It uses the feeling of the unknown; of being watched, being engulfed in darkness, adding a sprinkle of body horror to create one of the scariest horror games ever.
