15 Best-Selling Video Games Since 2010 - Ranked Worst To Best

2. Pokémon X & Y (3DS) - 13.63 Million

Worse-selling by two million units than Black & White, X & Y finally ushered in fully 3D polygonal graphics for not just the battle segments, but the world of Pokémon itself. Fans of the older aesthetic were perturbed whilst those more accustomed to life outside the initial 150 rejoiced that it had 'caught up' to other expansive RPGs such as Animal Crossing or even Monster Hunter. X & Y latched onto this idea of modernising everything about the basic Pokémon experience, giving you access to a wider range of monsters almost immediately, speeding up general movement to get from place to place, introducing full customisation to characters, Mega Evolutions and best of all - the most robust online play seen so far. X & Y set the new standard for the franchise, and although the only place you'll see Pokémon battling each other with actual physical collision is Pokkén Tournament, here's to 2016's Sun and Moon introducing that too.
