15 Best Third-Person Shooters Of The Decade (So Far)

14. Dead Space 2 - Visceral Games

Improving on the first Dead Space - as sequels rarely do - Dead Space 2 gave Isaac Clarke a voice, the shooting some much-needed tweaks and gave the player a memorable, ferocious start to the game, sending countless Necromorphs after you whilst being trapped inside a straight-jacket.

A real nightmare brought to life, the game never really stops providing this experience, and remains incredibly constant much like the first one before it.

Performing amputations with the Plasma Cutter was still as satisfying as ever, something that Dead Space 3 seemed to of dropped the ball with, which is why this middle instalment takes the list instead.

Being pretty much a small improvement over DS1, it's one of the better examples of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", and there's nothing wrong with that.
