The thirst for Crash Bandicoot has been no clearer than in the UK market, where the recently-released N. Sane Trilogy scored the country's biggest single-format video game launch of the year so far, even beating out the PS4's own hugely successful Horizon Zero Dawn.

In fact, the only game in the entire year to debut to stronger figures was Ghost Recon: Wildlands, but that had the combined might of PS4, Xbox One and PC releases.

It was clear from the pre-release hype that the game was going to sell well regardless of reviews, but strong acclaim has no doubt helped push the game to truly immense success, damn-near ensuring that not only will Crash Team Racing likely be remastered soon, but a fully-fledged new Crash title will probably come out eventually.
