15 Facts About Gaming In 2015 That’ll Blow Your Mind

8. Most Gamers Have Been Playing On A Consistent Basis For 13 Years

Although the average age of a gamer is 35, the actual amount of time people tended to cite as when they were gaming regularly was 13 years. Whether that's through school years or after settling down in later life, slightly over a decade is the sweet spot.

So if your 13th year was 2015, your childhood games are the likes of Super Mario Galaxy, Mass Effect, Kirby's Epic Yarn - maybe even Super Meat Boy.

Have a think yourself, did you ever get 'out' of gaming for a while and come back? Would you consider yourself a lifelong regular player? Personally my earliest memories are of the Master System and Alex Kidd, but it's weird to think something like Skyrim could be one of the current generation's first RPG experiences.
