15 Hilarious Voice Acting Fails In Video Games

2. Clock Tower

When people talk about survival horror on the PS1, it's always in the context of Resident Evil or Silent Hill. But what about Clock Tower, dammit?! The classic murder-mystery point-and-click may have been a bit archaic gameplay-wise, even next to Resi's tank controls, but it was just as claustrophobic and creepy, and had the same awful level of voice acting that was seemingly a requisite feature of every horror game back then.

Up until the 0:38 mark, the trailer for Clock Tower is the epitome of overblown horror, until the narrator chimes in with his over-processed, synthetic-sounding voice and it all goes downhill. For some reason, the constant references to 'giant scissors' and the 'scissorman' are hard to take seriously when spoken with accents that seem to have trouble deciding which side of the Atlantic they're from.
